Since I’ve introduced this “Grace vs. Scout” segment here on Better Off Red, the girls have become pseudo-celebrities among their cat friends.  They’re getting fan mail, autograph requests and endorsement deals.  It’s impossible for them to even go to their favorite restaurants and bowling alleys these days without being recognized.  I guess that’s the price of fame.

Scout is holding a 7-5 lead over her sister.  Grace is so frustrated that she’s ready to scratch someone’s eyes out.  Let’s see who the girls selected today as their “Red to Rock”.  And remember, you too can participate by voting for your Red to Rock!

This is how tough it’s been for Grace:  Yesterday she picks Joey Votto as her ‘Red to Rock.’   Joey gets 3 hits and Grace STILL loses.  That’s because Scout took Johnny Cueto and improved her lead to 6-3.

Scout is currently enjoying a commanding 5-2 lead over her twin sister, Grace.  To celebrate, Scout (aka “Jean Louise“) took an especially long nap today.  Grace and I had conference this afternoon in which she confided in me that she’s reevaluating her strategy.  After the meeting, she proceeded to give herself a bath.

Grace rejoiced last night in her first victory of the season.  She celebrated with a big ball of yarn and a cup of tuna water (the girl knows how to party).   Scout scoffed and vowed to start another long winning streak.
