SUNDAY’S #REDS LINEUP

06-12-16

…..

From my pal @Bongreatness…

Today is Military Appreciation Day #2 of the 2016 season, presented by DAV – Disabled American Veterans – and Hankook Tire. The Reds will be wearing their digi-camo uniforms for today’s game.

During pregame ceremonies Hankook Tire America Corp. President Hee-Se Ahn (he-say AHN) will present a check to DAV Executive Director Barry Jesinoski for $150,000 as part of Hankook’s continued support of our Nation’s military and veterans.

Offering up one of our ceremonial first pitches tonight will be Marines Corps veteran Bryan Lett, a native of Columbus, Ohio, who medically retired from the service after sustaining injuries while serving in Afghanistan. Bryan is now employed by DAV – Disabled American Veterans.

Also joining us for pregame events today are representatives of the Navy Band Northeast, attached to the Naval War College in Newport, RI, one of 11 official U.S. Navy bands worldwide. Groups representing the Navy Band Northeast will perform around the ballpark pregame as well as providing our National Anthem. The Navy Band Northeast is in town leading up to Dayton Navy Week.

Delivering the official Game Ball today will be Admiral Victor Hall. Admiral Hall is a graduate of both Xavier University & the University of Cincinnati and is the current Deputy Commander for Navy Medicine West.

Musician Second Class Laura Carey will join us to sing God Bless America during the middle of the 7th inning break today.

Following the conclusion of today’s game is the annual CollegeAdvantage RCF Family Catch, presented by TQL. During this unique opportunity fans will take turns going to the outfield grass of Great American Ball Park to play a game of catch. Spots are still available and will be sold at a staffed table in the Fan Zone during today’s game.
