WITH 29 CACTUS LEAGUE GAMES LEFT, #REDS REMAIN UNDEFEATED

The quest for a flawless Cactus League season is very much alive as the Reds thumped the Indians on Thursday afternoon, 9-1.  RHP Anthony DeSclafani started for Cincinnati and pitched 2.0 scoreless innings (0h, 0bb, 1k).  Cleveland’s lone run was of the unearned variety due to a Joey Votto throwing error in the fifth inning.

SS Ivan De Jesus Jr and LF Phillip Ervin paced the offense with 2 hits apiece.  RF Juan Duran belted a solo homer in the ninth.

The Reds are now 2-0-1 with 29 games remaining in the Cactus League season.  The baseball world is on the edge of its seat anticipating a possible undefeated Spring for the Redlegs.

The Reds lock up with the Giants Friday afternoon at Goodyear Ballpark beginning at 3:05pm ET.
