From my pal @Bongreatness...

As part of Fan Appreciation Day at Great American Ball Park, the first 20,000 fans in attendance today will receive a 2015 Reds Team Photo, courtesy of Snickers & Kroger. Over 250 prizes will be given away during today’s game to lucky fans throughout the ballpark due to the generosity of Reds corporate partners and other community organizations.

During pregame ceremonies the Rosie Reds will make their annual presentation of scholarships to numerous local collegiate baseball players. The scholarships are one of the many contributions that the Rosie Reds make to our community as part of their philanthropic efforts to enhance the game of baseball in our region.

Also during pregame ceremonies today we will recognize longtime member of the production teams of the Reds on Radio & Reds on TV, Mr. Dick Maus. Dick is retiring at the end of the 2015 season after a combined 52 years of work during game production at Crosley Field, Riverfront Stadium & Great American Ball Park.

During the middle of the 7th inning break today we will be joined by Smooth Transitions, who will lead us in the singing of God Bless America.

Following the conclusion of today’s game fans will have the opportunity to Run the Bases of Great American Ball Park, courtesy of Entenmann’s Little Bites. This is the third and final Run the Bases opportunity of the season.

Yesterday, the Reds honored my friend and long-time Reds beat writer John Fay, who is retiring from the Cincinnati Enquirer.  Here are some pics from yesterday’s in-game celebration…
