From my pal @Bongreatness

Tonight is Fiesta Rojos at Great American Ball Park. Tonight we celebrate the local Hispanic community and the rich cultural history of the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds will wear their “Los Rojos” jerseys during tonight’s game to go along with numerous pregame ceremonies and activations throughout the ballpark. Tonight’s event also kicks off Tony Perez Weekend at the ballpark. Perez, Cesar Geronimo and David Concepcion will serve as tonight’s Honorary Captains. During pregame ceremonies Maria Lang will receive a Reds Community Advocate Award in recognition of her contributions as an educator and tutor at the Academy of Multilingual Immersion Studies (AMIS). Also during pregame ceremonies tonight seven current Reds players of Hispanic descent in will receive certificates of recognition from the Commission on Hispanic & Latino Affairs for the State of Ohio.

Please note that tonight’s National Anthem is scheduled for 6:52PM.

Tonight is Fireworks Friday #10 of the 2015 season, presented by Cooper Tires. The 15-minute fireworks show will begin approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of tonight’s game featuring a Fiesta Rojos soundtrack set to Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks. Prior to the start of the fireworks show we will welcome 14 members of the Big Red Machine for a special postgame Q&A in honor of Tony Perez Weekend. Prior to the start of the Q&A we will welcome representatives of Players for the Planet, including former Red Chris Dickerson, as they present a check in the amount of $17,500 to the Reds Hall of Fame as part of the 6th annual e-waste drive held earlier this summer.
