From my pal @Bongreatness...

The first 25,000 fans in the ballpark today will receive a Devin Mesoraco bobblehead, courtesy of St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Gates to the ballpark are scheduled to open at 5:10PM for Season Ticket Holders and 5:40PM for the general public, however those gate opening times may be adjusted in accordance with Cincinnati Fire Code if the crowd size outside the gates dictates it so.

Tonight is the inaugural St. Elizabeth Healthcare Northern Kentucky Night at Great American Ball Park. Offering up one of our ceremonial first pitches tonight will be University of Kentucky Head Coach John Calipari.

During pregame ceremonies we will salute the MSA sport “Coaches of the Year” for high school baseball in Reds Country. Tonight’s honorees include Josh Patrick (Fairborn High School), Mark Pelfrey (Springboro High School), Triffon Callos (Summit Country Day), Mark Day (Hughes High School) and Shawn Sowders (Harrison High School).

For those of you who follow Better Off Red on Twitter (@Jamieblog), you’re probably aware that I’ve been giving out some cool prizes during the current homestand.  Well, I’d like to keep that going – but it’s up to you.

Tonight, I’ve got a Better Off Red t-shirt, a mystery Reds bobblehead and an All-Star Game media guide ready to ship out to one random follower who hangs out with me on Twitter during this evening’s Reds/Pirates game.

But there’s a catch.  The only way I can give out the stuff I mentioned above is if we can come together as one and get RON ROBINSON trending on Twitter (at the very least, trending in Cincinnati).  If that happens, I’ll package up the prizes and select one random winner.  Cool? Do it for Ron (aka “The True Creature”)
