Before we get to the lineup, we MUST give another look at Brandon Phillips’ mastery from last night…

From my pal @Bongreatness

The first 25,000 fans in attendance today will receive a Barry Larkin “Stars of the Queen City” Bobblehead courtesy of Dynegy Energy Services. Gates to the ballpark are scheduled to open at 2:10PM for Season Ticket Holders and 2:40PM for the general public. However those gate opening times may be adjusted in accordance with Cincinnati Fire Code should the crowd size outside the gates dictate it so.

Today is the 3rd Military Appreciation Day of the 2015 season, presented by DAV & RetireMED iQ. Reds players will be wearing their camouflage designed jerseys for today’s game. Today’s game is a Military Appreciate Day in observance of the 71st anniversary of D-Day. Brothers Jim and Ross Kimmerly will be honored during pregame and in-game ceremonies. Jim, who resides in Manchester, Ohio, will offer up one of today’s ceremonial first pitches. He served in WWII with the U.S. Navy from 1940-46 and is a Pearl Harbor survivor. Ross, who resides in Withamsville, Ohio, will be the Cincinnati Bell Hometown Hero of today’s game. He served in WWII with the U.S. Navy from 1943-46 and was part of the D-Day invasion of Normandy.

Tonight is Scout Night at Great American Ball Park. Over 250 Scouts and their parents/guardians will stick around after tonight’s game and participate in on-field activities, watch a movie on the GABP videoboard & have a campout on the field.
