On this momentous occasion which is opening day (tomorrow April 6th), I’d like to inform the Reds fans that a book is coming out in August that features Marty Brennaman himself. He discusses Great American Ball Park, Homer Bailey’s no hitter, Riverfront Stadium, Joe Nuxhall, and The Big Red Machine. FYI, that’s just the Reds part of the book, which contains material from interviews with Vin Scully, Jon Miller, Greg Brown, John Sterling, Charley Steiner, and many many more. It’s available for pre order on Amazon, so get your hardbound copy reserved before they run out. Here’s the link.
