#REDS ERASE FIVE-RUN DEFICIT TO COMPLETE DOUBLEHEADER SWEEP OF THE CUBS

  • In Milwaukee tonight, the Phillies came back to beat the Brewers, 9-7.  This means the Reds are now just 3.5 games off the pace in the National League Central.
  • Today’s doubleheader sweep is the first for the Reds since 8/31/09 vs. the Pirates.
  • Tonight’s Game Two victory marked the Reds’ biggest come-from-behind win of the season (5 runs).
  • The Reds have won four straight games and13 of their last 18.
  • Including this one against the Cubs, the Reds are now 7-1 over their last 8 series.
  • Are a season-high six games over .500
  • Improve to 22-9 this season against the Cubs, Brewers and Pirates.
