WEDNESDAY’S LINEUPS: WHO’S YOUR ‘RED-TO-ROCK?’
From my pal @Bongreatness…
Tonight is the 6th Annual “Zoo Night” at Great American Ball Park. In partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, we will welcome 12 Zoo animals for a meet & greet in the Fan Zone (5:45-6:25PM + 6:50 – end of 1st inning) as well as a pregame parade around the warning track. In addition, “Sam” the Bald Eagle will make his first ceremonial flight of the 2014 season from the Cincinnati Bell Riverboat Deck to the pitcher’s mound at the conclusion of tonight’s National Anthem. Tonight’s “Zoo Night” festivities are subject to change, pending the weather conditions later today.
The first 25,000 fans in attendance tonight will receive a free Aroldis Chapman bobblehead, courtesy of Cincinnati Bell. Gates to the ballpark are scheduled to open at 5:10PM for Season Ticket Holders and 5:40PM for the general public. However, those gate opening times could be adjusted in accordance with Cincinnati Fire Code should the crowd size outside the gates, or the weather conditions, dictate it so.
