From my pal @Bongreatness…

Today is the second of four Bark in the Park events of the 2014 season, presented by Iams & Kroger. Over 600 dogs and their owners are expected to be in attendance tonight for pregame activities in the Fan Zone and a pregame parade around the warning track, as well as the game.

Today is the first of six Kid Glove Games during the 2014 season. All proceeds for the program go towards the purchase of baseball and softball equipment for the youth in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. The first Kid Glove Game was played by the Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers at Crosley Field in 1949. Over $9.4 million dollars has been raised in the 65-year history of the program.

Can’t disagree with Pena. Is this first time he’s batted second?
