MOTHER’S DAY LINEUP: WHO’S YOUR ‘RED-TO-ROCK?’

5-11

From my pal @Bongreatness

A giant “HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY” to all the moms out there today…

The first 10,000 moms to enter the ballpark today will receive a Reds Cosmetic Bag, courtesy of Biz & Oxydol. Additionally, the first 8,000 kids 14 and younger through the gates today will receive a Rosie Red Mascot Magnet. Gates to the ballpark are scheduled to open at 11:10AM for Season Ticket Holders and 11:40AM for the general public. However, those gate opening times could be adjusted in accordance with Cincinnati Fire Code should the crowd size outside the gates dictate it so.

Today’s pregame parade around the warning track will feature both a large contingent of moms as well as a contingent of Girl Scouts, who are celebrating a special day at the ballpark.

During pregame ceremonies today we will welcome and honor the Princeton High School girls basketball team, who won the Ohio state championship earlier this year.

Today’s Honorary Captains of the game are husband and wife duo Mike Schroeder & Patty Stump, who were selected for today’s duties as part of Major League Baseball’s Breast Cancer Awareness program. Mike & Patty have both been previously diagnosed with breast cancer and continue to fight the disease while volunteering their time and efforts for notable breast cancer awareness causes.

In the middle of the 7th inning break today mom and daughter team Rose Christophel & Cora Inderhees will lead us in the singing of God Bless America.
