How much for a pint?

As a long-time resident of the upper deck, I’d love to see some of this selection in the upper deck!

No Yuengling????

The 85-foot bar is located on the main concourse of GABP (high traffic area). It’s easily accessible to everyone in the ballpark.

Try a Mt. Carmel Amber Ale. Like Yuengling, it’s a red amber. Unlike Yuengling, it’s locally brewed.

Might want to spell Moerlein correctly in the heading mid-page. And in your local/national breakdown, I thought Angry Orchard was from Cincinnati and is actually hard cider.

This is a great thing for America. #murica

Barb – Thanks for the spelling catch. Although Angry Orchard is brewed in Cincy, it’s sold nationally. I think that’s why it’s under the “national” heading. Thanks! – Jamie

Not having Yuengling is crime. I’m from Lexington and West 6th is decent at best and KY bourbon barrel is great(better with a shot of Makers in it).

Try a Mt. Carmel Amber Ale, Chase. I think you’ll enjoy it.

stoked!hope its keeped reasonably priced so i can enjoy trying more then 1 ;)

Nice job with all the new locals and IPAs. Truth is probably the best IPA in the city. And mad tree not too shabby either. However it is a little frustrating with the guys who are selling beer from chair to chair that you can’t even get a pale ale or IPA from them.

Looks great!! What a beautiful addition to an already magnificent ballpark!

Looks like I’ll need more than six games to try everything.

Now there is some great choices! I have to say that is one beautiful bar. Check out the granite? Reds logos. Great job guys!

Who is the 1 lost soul who disliked this post? Can’t wait to get to GABP!!

We want PsycHOPathy back in Cans too! They need to bench a National in favor of a local…..so much easier to take to further away parts of the ballpark then a draft.

Glad Yuengling isn’t there (from Pirates and Phillies territory), but upset that Great Lakes is. It’s a Cleveland brew and beloved among the Tribe.

They should get any of the Warped Wing beers out of Dayton Ohio! They are delish!!!

This says over 60 taps…I’m not counting 60. Are they counting repeat taps as 2?

Pure genius.
Thanks for the pics and beer list.

As a Reds fan in Pennsylvania I can attest that Troeg’s Subshine Pils is an outstanding ballpark beer. All of Troeg’s selections are top notch. I can’t wait to take in a weekend series this summer!

Ewwww, Yuengling? This list has way better stuff than that swill.

Are all those round red items along back wall the kegs?

Why is there no Hudepohl?

What are the prices for the beer?

If one really wants a Yuengling, they were sold in the cans at the Sweet spot and UDFs last year.

As a big fan of craft beer, my favorite spot at the ballpark (other than the game) was the Grand Slam Bar. Craft beer is a big thing now, and it’s really cool that GABP not only recognizes that but is able to offer so many local breweries under one roof. I have no idea what the prices are, but I do know that the Grand Slam Bar didn’t gouge..the beers were a little more expensive than Buds and Millers, but you get what you pay for. If you want massive quantities of Bud, then craft beer may not be for you. If you want more complex flavors, fresher beers, from the local guys, then spend the extra 50 cents or so for craft. That’s the nice thing…you have choices!

Is this in place of the Reds Authentic stand?

Some rouge selections would have been nice, but an overall great selection.

This is great! Now my $10+ beer will actually taste good.

And the Pabst Blue Ribbon is where?

What? No Shoenling or Hudepohl? Cincinnati originals….

Noticed Madtree psycHOPathy can in bottom runner jpg …thought they got 86ed this season?

What’s with all the ales? What about some Lagers? German heritage???

Where’s Hudy?

Challenge accepted.

Not to knock Mt Carmel Amber Ale, it’s a decent beer….but it’s not the same as Yuengling.
It falls pretty far short.
