Hometown Heroes

Hometown-Heroes

The Reds and Cincinnati Bell are looking for worthy members of the Armed Forces to be honored at Great American Ball Park.

At every Reds game this season, a member of the United States Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force or Coast Guard) will be recognized as the “Cincinnati Bell Hometown Hero.”

“Cincinnati Bell is strong supporter of our local veterans and active military,” said Ted Torbeck, President and CEO, Cincinnati Bell. “We are proud to partner with the Reds once again to honor our Hometown Heroes for their service and sacrifice.”

Submit nominations online at www.reds.com/heroes or visit any Cincinnati Bell-owned retail store from April 1-30, 2014 to nominate a Hometown Hero.

Each Hometown Hero will receive four (4) tickets to the game for which they are chosen.

After Serving our Great Vountry for the past 22 years 6 mo and 1 day I retired and moved back home to St Paris Ohio
I would be honored to throw out a pitch for ALL My Brothers and Sisters around the World and for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

My oldest son Brandon Cole will be in town in July sometime between the 3rd and the 6th. He has served in the Navy since 2004. He enlisted when he was 17 in the DEP program. Brandon is currently stationed in Norfolk aboard the USS Mahan DDG72. Brandon and his fiancé Isabel are getting married in Goshen Ohio on July 5th 2014. They had both looked into and wanted so badly to be married at the Great American Ballpark but they had to take what they could afford. I’m sure he will catch a game if the Reds are home when he is here. He always does. My son Phillip got me interested in watching the Reds but it was Brandon who took me and Isabel to our first ballgame. Our family is very proud of him.
