All good things must come to an end.  The Reds took an impressive 1-0 Cactus League record into Thursday’s game with the Indians and had eyes on a complete 195-0 undefeated season (including exhibition games).  Sadly, it just wasn’t meant to be as the Indians roughed up Cincinnati for 12 runs on 12 hits and 10 walks.  The big blow for the Tribe came when young Jake Lowery belted a grand slam in the fifth inning off Reds lefty Ismael Guillon.

Johnny Cueto started for the Redlegs and pitched 2.0 scoreless frames (1h, 2bb, 2k).

The same two teams will square off again Friday at Goodyear Ballpark as Homer Bailey is slated to oppose Josh Tomlin. First pitch at 3:05 pm Cincinnati time (1:05 Goodyear time) and the game can be heard on the Reds Radio Network (1360 WSAI in Cincinnati) and Reds.com.

Below is a time lapse video from today’s game.  Enjoy!
