It was good, it wasn’t bad and it certainly wasn’t ugly

The Reds used four home runs to give Bronson Arroyo a 6-3 win over the Brewers on Saturday night.

Arroyo was solid in his 7.0+ innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits with no walks and 6 strikeouts.  Bronson improved his record to 13-9.

Chris Heisey (#8), Ryan Ludwick (#1), Zack Cozart (#10) and Joey Votto (#19) each homered.  For Votto, it marked his 152nd career home run, tying him with Pete Rose and Joe Morgan for 15th on the Reds’ all-time home run list.

The series rubber match against the Brew Crew takes place Sunday afternoon with first pitch slated for 1:10pm ET.  Tony Cingrani is schedule to oppose Milwaukee’s Marco Estrada, but it’s possible that Cingrani won’t pitch due to the injury he suffered his last time out.

UPDATE:  RHP Greg Reynolds will join the Reds from Louisville in order to start Sunday’s game against the Brewers.

Plenty of tickets are still available, so please come down and support our Redlegs!!

Expect good news!
