#REDS PARTNER WITH PNC AND CRC TO RENOVATE EAST END FIELD

From my colleague, Michael “Mando” Anderson

One hundred volunteers from PNC Bank participated in a baseball field renovation project today at the LeBlond Recreation Center in Cincinnati’s East End.

PNC partnered with the Reds Community Fund and the Cincinnati Recreation Commission to restore the dugouts and backstop of the ballfield along with painting fences, installing foul poles and prepping the field for play.

The new “PNC Field” will be dedicated at 3 p.m. with Kay Geiger, regional president of PNC Bank, throwing out a ceremonial first pitch to Reds Hall of Famer Lee May.
