TODAY’S TRANSACTIONS: Today the Reds placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to yesterday, C Ryan Hanigan (sprained left wrist) and selected from Class AAA Louisville the contract of C Corky Miller (#37)…the 40-man roster was at 39…is Hanigan’s second stint on the DL this season (4/21-5/9, strained left oblique).

We’re having a fun discussion on Twitter on who’d win if the 2013 Reds held their own Home Run Derby.  Weigh in by tweeting me your thoughts (@Jamieblog).

Here’s tonight’s lineup.  Who’s your #RedToRock?

Reds relievers haven’t allowed a run since 6/28 at Texthe active 9-game (24.2ip) scoreless streak ties the franchise record for consecutive scoreless games by the bullpen…also was accomplished from 6/3- 6/14, 1971 (20.2ip) and then again from 5/3-5/13, 1987 (28ip)…courtesy Elias.

I’m not sure if you saw THIS yet or not, but it’s a pretty touching story by C. Trent Rosecrans that appeared in USA Today.  Great gesture by Joey.

RIP Mr. Crews.

From the department of “Expect Good News,” Mark Sheldon gives us an update on Sean Marshall.

Now for some housekeeping…

Last week, you may have saw, I experimented with something called “BOR-TV.”  If you didn’t see any of the episodes, check one out here.

I enjoyed putting together the segments, but it does take some time.  So, what I need to know is, should I continue to move forward with BOR-TV?  Let me know in the poll below.  Thanks for the feedback.

That’s all for now.  Enjoy the game tonight…and while you’re watching, take note of the outfield wall at Turner Field.  It’s the only one I can think of that goes “uninterrupted” from foul pole to foul pole (no nooks or crannies).

Expect good news!

I do like BOR-TV, especially the lineups. But the blog is still great without it. 🙂

Jamie the TV stuff was not just kool, but real KOOL. The puffy haired fancy boy couldn’t have done a better J-O-B!!!!
