SUNDAY’S #REDS RUNDOWN
From my pal @Bongreatness...
The first 8,000 kids 14 and under in the ballpark today will receive a Kids Reds Cap, courtesy of Delta Air Lines. Gates to the ballpark are scheduled to open at 11:10AM for Season Ticket Holders and 11:40AM for the general public. However, if the crowd size outside the gates dictates it so, those gates opening times will be adjusted in accordance with Cincinnati Fire Code.
Over 600 members of the Reds Heads Kids Club will participate in a pregame parade around the warning track today. Just one of the many perks of the best kids club in Major League Baseball.
During pregame ceremonies today we will honor the Reds Way Employee of the Month for the month of July, ticket seller Jenny Siethel. Jenny is in her 9th season with the team and she will receive her Reds Way gifts from Sr. Director of Ticket Operations John O’Brien & Ticket Operations Accountant Lance Bucher.
The crowd will be led in the singing of God Bless America today by the Elder High School Glee Club during the middle of the 7th inning break. (Note that the Glee Club will be positioned on the staircase behind section 119 for today’s performance.)
Following the conclusion of today’s game is the annual Reds Community Fund’s “Family Catch” event. Over 400 pairs of family members will participate in today’s event to raise funds for the RCF and their signature baseball outreach programs. Discounted packages for the on-field portion of the event will be available for purchase today at the check-in table behind Section 133 near the Kroger Fan Zone.
Also a very special “happy birthday” today to Reds Media Relations Director Rob Butcher!
