Hi folks!  Hope everyone is doing well on this Thursday.

I didn’t get a chance yesterday to thank you all for participating in Wednesday’s #VoteReds Twitter Lunch.  You all did a wonderful job!  We’re going to do it again next week, so bring your appetite and get your votes ready!

In the meantime, you don’t have to wait, you can go to to cast your Reds ballot.

This week’s #VoteReds Twitter Lunch winner is @DatPaulieg.  “Plug” gets an Aroldis Chapman bobblehead!

We’ll have another cool prize next week, so please join in us in getting our Reds players to the All-Star Game!

My colleague Audra Sordyl shared with us some very interesting info yesterday – Friday (tomorrow), in just their 34th home date, the Reds will go over the 1 million mark in attendance this season at Great American Ball Park.  It’s the fastest to 1 million in the history of GABP and the fastest to that number since 1976 at Riverfront Stadium when the ball club reached a million in their 30th game.

Great job Reds fans!  Obviously, the place to be this summer is Great American Ball Park.  For those of you who have yet to attend a game this season, I highly recommend coming down to our beautiful ballpark.  And for those of you who have been to GABP in 2013, we’d love to have you back for more Reds baseball!

Reds phenom RHP Robert Stephenson went on Dayton’s disabled list this week with a left hamstring injury.  If there’s a silver lining to this news, it’s that the injury isn’t arm related.

Here’s to a speedy recovery for Robert.

Two of Better Off Red’s most loyal fans – Jason Lawrence and Robyn Stump will share  their wedding vows Saturday in Columbus.  All of us here at BOR would like to wish them a life-long marriage filled with love and happiness…and Reds baseball!  As Marty likes to say – “Ain’t love grand?”

Take a look at one of the newest Reds fans – little Henry Harkins!

Henry is the brand new son to my friends Joe and Molly.  He’s already a Reds fan, but I’m personally interested in seeing who he chooses as his favorite NFL team!

As you saw yesterday, Brandon Phillips made yet another incredible play at second base.  Our friends at ESPN call them “Web Gems” and they are keeping a tally of  great plays around the Majors.  It’s no surprise Dat Dude sits atop of that Web Gems list…

From today’s Reds gamenotes…

FRIENDLY CONFINES: Since a 5-3 loss on 8/9/12 the Reds have a 12-game winning streak at Wrigley Field marks a Wrigley Field record for most-consecutive wins by an opponet…the last Major Leauge team to win 12 games at an opponents park was when the Phillies beat the Padres 13-straight games at PETCO Park from 8/17/2008 through 4/20/2012…the Reds streak includs consecutive 3-game series sweeps in September 2012 and May 2013…the Reds have won 9 of their last 10g vs the Cubs and dating back to last season 19 of the last 22g…from 4/24-5/25 on 6 consecutive games vs Chi for the first time since 7/20-9/12, 2005…the previous record for consecutive wins here was 7 games (2002-2003).

LATOS: Only two pitchers in Reds history won 20 or more games in their first 25 decisions with the team:

Ted Breitenstein: 20-5
Mat Latos: 20-4
