In Reds news…

OF Chris Heisey, who’s been on the Reds disabled list since 4/29 with a strained right hamstring, made an injury rehab appearance last night for AA-Pensacola.  Heisey left the game in the top of the first inning with discomfort in that hamstring.  He will be re-evaluated this afternoon and his playing status updated.

RHP Johnny Cueto, who’s been on the Reds disabled list since 4/15 with a strained right lat, is scheduled to start in an injury rehab appearance for A-Dayton vs. West Michigan.  That game is slated for a 7pm first pitch.

LHP Manny Parra, who’s been on the Reds disabled list since 4/26 with a strained left pectoral muscle, pitched in an injury rehab appearance with AA-Pensacola (1ip, 1h, 2k, 13TP).  He’s expected to pitch again on Thursday vs. AA-Chattanooga.

RHP Robert Stephenson, the Reds’ 2011 first-round draft pick, last night for A-Dayton fired 6.0 scoreless innings.  Stephenson allowed just 1 unearned run on 2 hits and 1 hit-batsman.  He didn’t walk a batter and he struck out 7.  On a night when the temperatures reached just 58 degrees, Stephenson topped 98 mph on the radar gun.

Joey Votto and Shin-Soo Choo lead the Major Leagues in “Times On Base.”  Each have reached base safely 79 times.  The next closest National League player in that category is Arizona’s Paul Goldschmidt (67 times on base).

Were you at the Aroldis Chapman bobblehead game?  If so, you’ve gotta check out THIS awesome feature on Reds.com that allows you to find and tag yourself in the stadium!  How cool is that?!

Today the windows at Great American Ball Park are getting some attention.  Hey, windows need some love, too!

More in a bit…

Expect good news!
