KEEP SCORE, HAVE A BALL! #BORSCORE
Don’t forget, we’re having our scorekeeping session on Twitter for tonight’s Reds/Braves game! Follow along using the hashtag #BORScore.
During tonight’s tilt with the Braves, I’ll show you how I learned to keep score of a game – the Reds Media Relations way. I’ll tweet directions and photo updates of my scorecard as the game progresses. Remember, you need to utilize the Twitter hashtag #BORScore in order to follow along.
There’s no right or wrong way to keep score of a baseball game. I’m simply going to show you how we do it.
As an added bonus for you scorekeepers, I’m going to give one of you lucky pencil-pushers an official Mother’s Day Major League baseball!
During this Sunday’s games, MLB is using, for the first-time ever, a baseball featuring pink stitching (see the photo below). One of them could be yours. Here’s how: Following tonight’s game, simply tweet a photo of your completed scorecard using #BORScore. I’ll announce one random winner tomorrow (Wednesday, May 8). And don’t worry, the winner will not be chosen on how closely his or her scorecard resembles mine. I just want to see the completed version.
A huge thanks to Jon Cline and the Reds Authentics Department (@RedsAuthentics) for providing the ball.
And if you’re looking for a blank scorecard, click on the PDF below for an exact replica of the one I’ll be using…
