THE UMPTEEN DAYS OF CHRISTMAS: DAY SEVEN
As promised, the Better Off Red elves are giving you a chance to win some very cool Reds-related gifts as a “thank you” for your support in 2012! It’s a little something we like to call “The Umpteen Days of Christmas.”
Every day through Friday, December 21st, you’ll have the opportunity to win a top-of-the-line prize. Here’s how…
This year, Reds staffer Nick St. Pierre (and at times, others) has filmed reenactments from some of my personal favorite holiday classics. In order for you to win the daily prize, you have to submit the next line of the scene in the comments section of that day’s post.
– For example, if you see Nick reenacting the scene from It’s a Wonderful Life in which Zuzu Bailey says, “Every time a bell rings,” your response should be: “An angel gets his wings.”
Day Seven’s prizes are a free View Level “Chapman Pick-6 Plan” for 2013, an Aroldis Chapman-signed baseball and a 2013 Reds Pass-Port (courtesy of our friends at Pass-Port Sports).

And here’s Nick with fellow Reds staffer Shannon Senger, reenacting a scene from Scrooged.
Finish the scene by leaving the next line in the comments section below.
You’ll notice I’ve made the actual comments in the comments section invisible to you and other readers. This is to cut down on “cheating.” Once you submit your comment, it will be automatically emailed to me, where only I’ll be able read your answer. I’ll put all the correct answers in a pile from which I’ll choose one random winner, daily. If you win, I’ll contact you via email.
And remember – no matter what holiday you celebrate this time of the year, Better Off Red celebrates it, too. Thus, all of you are encouraged to participate!
Congratulations to Day Six’s randomly selected winner, Chris Korte, who correctly responded with “Flick says he saw some grizzly bears near Pulaski’s Candy Store.” Chris wins the Zack Cozart autographed photo and a personalized Reds Hall of Fame Legacy brick paver that will be installed at the entrance of the Reds HOF and Museum.
We’ll announce Day Seven’s winner tomorrow. Good luck!
