WHAT WE ARE THANKFUL FOR
It’s an extended weekend of food, football, and family. And it’s a time to give thanks for the wonderful things we have in our lives. Here at the Reds, we have many things we are thankful for…
We are thankful for the fans that take Opening Day off to celebrate the beginning of a new season.
We are thankful for the fans that show up in their favorite Reds shirt and cap to cheer on the home team.
We are thankful for fans that listen to the Reds on the radio or watch on TV and online. (Especially those overseas)
We are thankful for fans that share their love of baseball with their dad, grandmother, children, friends or coworkers.
We are thankful for the fans that tweet our players good luck and post “we’ll get ‘em tomorrow” messages on facebook after a loss.
We are thankful for fans that drive hours to see a game.
We are thankful for fans that show up when gates open and stay until the very last pitch.
We are thankful for the fans that spend countless hours blogging about Reds baseball.
We are thankful for fans that think their season ticket seats are their vacation home.
We are thankful that we have fans that are also incredible broadcasters.
We are thankful for fans that also happen to be owners.
We are thankful for fans that let optimism prevail in times of heartbreak.
We are thankful for fans that take the time to write us their thoughts, good and not so good.
We are thankful for the fans that volunteer at Redsfest, Reds Community Fund events and at our Hall of Fame.
We are thankful the fans give us the opportunity and privilege to work for them.
Today, and every day, we are so very thankful for all of our Reds fans.
