NLDS Game 5 vs SF Reds Gamenotes PDF

From my pal @Bongreatness

Gates to the ballpark open today at 11:07AM for all fans.  However if the crowd outside the gates dictates it, that time may be adjusted in accordance with Cincinnati Fire Code.

All fans attending today’s game will receive a free Reds Rally Towel, courtesy of Cincinnati Bell, Horseshoe Casino, Kroger, Homemade Brand Ice Cream and P&G.

Today’s ceremonial first pitch will be throw out by George Foster, a member of the Reds Hall of Fame & the 1977 National League Most Valuable Player.  Foster scored the game-winning run of Game #5 the 1972 NLCS against Pittsburgh on a wild pitch.

Today’s Game Ball Delivery will be handled by Fred Carnes, a longtime coach, volunteer & mentor from the West End/Queensgate neighborhoods who currently helps run the West End Reds, which is an organization that partners with the Reds Community Fund through Knothole and the “Match” program.

American Country music singer/songwriter Rodney Atkins will sing our National Anthem.  Atkins sang the Anthem on Opening Day this year.  (We do NOT expect to have a flyover today.)

During the middle of the 7th inning break today Shintara Carpenter will lead the crowd in singing God Bless America.
