THURSDAY’S #REDS GAMENOTES & FARM REPORT; ELIAS SAYS…
From our friends at Elias Sports Bureau…
LUDWICK ON A TEAR
Ryan Ludwick drove in four runs with three RBI hits (a two-run homer in the first inning and run-scoring singles in the fifth and seventh innings) in the Reds’ 6-4 win against the Padres. Ludwick has driven in 12 runs over his last four games. That’s his career high for any four-game span and it’s the most RBI for a Reds player over a span of four games since Brandon Phillips recorded 13 in April 2006.

From my pal @Bongreatness…
Today is the first of the “Ultimate Sports Doubleheader” days taking place in partnership between the Reds & Cincinnati Bengals. Fans attending today’s game will be encouraged to make it a doubleheader and stick around for the Bengals practice taking place at Paul Brown Stadium from 6-8PM tonight (their gates open at 4PM).
The annual Reds Family Game, which was rained out back on July 19, will be held on the field from 10:30-11:00am today. Members of the Reds traveling party including players, coaches & support staff will join their families on the field for this “game” and get some family photos.

Everyone’s hot in Reds country. Congrats on #2 ranking in PRO division of MLB.com/blogs Latest Leaders – just posted at http://mlblogs.mlblogs.com/2012/08/02/mlb-comblogs-latest-leaders-july-2012
