#REDS ACQUIRE BROXTON; TUESDAY’S GAMENOTES
Today the Reds acquired from the Royals RHP Jonathan Broxton (#50) in exchange for minor leaguers RHP Juan Carlos Sulbaran and LHP Donnie Joseph; recalled from Louisville RHP Todd Redmond (#58); placed on the 15-day disabled list LHP Bill Bray (lumbar muscle strain); designated for assignment RHP Andrew Brackman.
Broxton is expected to be in uniform tomorrow. This season for KC he posted 23 saves and a 2.27 ERA in 35 relief appearances and has 107 career saves for the Dodgers and Royals.
The bullpen just got stronger.
