DRAGONS ON TV SATURDAY
JAMIE RAMSEY TO PROVIDE COLOR COMMENTARY
GAMES ON WHIO DIGITAL 7.2, TIME WARNER 23 & 372
DAYTON, OHIO—Saturday night’s Dayton Dragons game will be televised from Fifth Third Field. The game will be seen on WHIO Digital Channel 7.2 (Time Warner Basic Cable Channel 23 and Digital Channel 372) at 7:00 p.m. The Dragons host the Great Lakes Loons.
Cincinnati Reds Assistant Director of Media Relations Jamie Ramsey will provide color commentary. Dragons Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Tom Nichols handles the play-by-play on all telecasts, which are produced by the Dragons’ in-house production crew. The Dragons will televise 25 games from Fifth Third Field this season.
Sponsors of the telecast include Texas Roadhouse, Friendship Village, John Morrell Food Group, Drake Heating and Air, Bathroom Alternatives, Greater Ohio Virtual School, Dave & Busters, DP&L, IUE-CWA, and Smoothie King.
Ramsey is the author of the popular blog Better Off Red at reds.com and is in his 11th season in the Reds Media Relations Department. He is also in his 15th year as part of the Reds organization. He is a native of Hamilton, Ohio and a graduate of Miami University.
“Better Off Red” provides a unique perspective into Reds baseball in traditional as well as off-beat themes. The blog includes a daily offering of baseball information including the Reds Farm Report mixed with fun photos, contests, and interesting tidbits.
