With 1 out in the bottom of the ninth and the score tied at 1, Todd Frazier went deep off Braves reliever Cristhian Martinez Wednesday night to give the Reds their fifth straight victory.

Bronson Arroyo was sharp in his 6.2 innings, allowing just 1 run on 4 hits and 2 walks while fanning 7.  The only Atlanta run came on a Dan Uggla homer in the sixth.

Aroldis Chapman pitched a perfect ninth for the victory (2 strikeouts).

The Redlegs go for the 4-game series sweep Thursday as Homer Bailey opposes Randall Delgado.  First pitch is 7:10.  If I were you, I’d get to Great American Ball Park to see these guys.  It’s getting pretty exciting.

2012 Reds: 24-19, 2nd, -0.5

1972 Reds: 25-18, 2nd, -1.5
