Brandon Phillips belted 2 home runs, Mat Latos pitched 7.0 strong innings (5h, 2r, 1bb, 8k, 1hr) and Aroldis Chapman notched his second save as the Reds won their 4th straight game, defeating the Braves Tuesday night 4-3.
Zack Cozart homered for the second consecutive day and is 4-for-11 in his last 3 games. Michael Bourn homered twice for the Braves – his first career multi-homer game.
26,438 showed up for Tuesday’s “titanic struggle.” Here’s hoping for 30,000 Wednesday. Why not?
