In the photo below, the beautiful and talented Reds payroll accountant Ayanna Goddard is holding up an autographed photo of a current Reds player…backwards to conceal his identity.

Since today is Friday AND it’s Star Wars Day, the Better Off Red Rebel Alliance (Lisa Braun and Burt BobbleRed) has decided to give you a chance to win this incredibly awesome mystery prize.

What you have to do is this:  In the comments section of this blog post, use your Jedi Mind Tricks to guess which current Reds player is featured in the autographed photo and explain which Star Wars character he’d best represent.

I’ll choose a winner tomorrow (Saturday).

Got it?  Good luck and may the Force be with you.

Devin Mesaraco

Willie Harris.

Since it’s his birthday today my guess is Sam LeCure.

I forgot the most important part!!! My guess is Sam LeCure and I would say Han Solo. This because he comes in kicks tail and doesn’t worry about taking names cause he’d forget them anyway.

And he’d be “Porkins.” Remember by fans for the wrong reason.

Joey Votto. He would be Anakin Skywalker, because he is “The Chosen One”

Bruuuuuuce!….JABA THE HUT!

Sam LeClure – Han Solo. Both are ‘scruffy lookin’ nerf herders’.

It’s Scott Rolen, and he’s Yoda. I’m not sure I need to say why, but they’re roughly the same age, and both have “still got it”. Additionally, I hope Rolen is training Frazier in the ways of the force.

Stubbs — C-3P0

I say Scott Rolen and he is clearly Obi-Wan Kenobi, teaching the ways of the Force to all the brash young kids.

It’s Joey “Obi Wan” Votto and he is currently training his young apprentice Jay “skywalker” Bruce to conquer the St Louis “Darkside” Cardinals

Brandon Phillips is Yoda . . . because he is bald and shares a lot of wisdom.

Joey Votto: He is Luke Skywalker, a new hope to the Red Rebel Alliance. He has skills and reactions above the typical normal human, yet wants to learn more and become even greater. He will be pressed to be a leader of a team even if he feels he is not ready. He is also “NOT afraid”.. although I’m pretty sure he’s never kissed his sister.

Zack Cozart as Han Solo bc ancient weapons and hokey religions are no match w a good glove at your side!

Sam LeCure and he would be Han Solo – gun slinger with tude, get in a little trouble, and always help the good guys (Reds) win.

I think it is Scott Rolen and he would be Obi Wan Kenobi.

Oh come on, Tom! That’s like bidding $1 on Price Is Right!

Zach Cozart – he’s Luke Skywalker – young with lots of promise!

Joey Votto as Han Solo because when Joey drives his Lamborghini he is like Han,
arguably the coolest character in the Star Wars universe.

I’m gonna say Todd Frazier.

Jay Bruce. He is Luke skywalker because he is young and shows that even if he is young he can fight with the big guys!

he’d be chewy, no particular reason. I just think he could be chewy.

You’ve never heard of Aroldis Chapman? He’s the guy that made that pitch in less than twelve parsecs.

Jay Bruce

He would definitely be Han Solo to Votto’s Luke Skywalker.

Trey Deuce…

Aroldis Chapman, who represents Darth Vader because they both give you a feeling of hopelessness!

Logan Ondrusek,as General Grievous;part man part machine an intimitating foe

Jay Bruce, Luke Skywalker, his rigorous Jedi(spring) training has led an increase in his power in the Force.

Joey Votto as Obi Won Canobi…ok, i’m not good with my Star Wars spellings, sorry. I think it’s him because he is a very wise man and at least from a fan point of view has a calming presence about him

Totally gotta be Scott Rolen, who represents Yoda. Yoda is a dude full of wisdom. Also, according to WOOKIEEPEDIA (The Star Wars Wikipedia) Yoda is a member of a mysterious species. Totally represents Scotty. Scotty is a mysterious man, with a mysterious sense of humor.

Joey Votto as Obi Wan because he has a quiet exterior but the wisdom and passion inside to be a great leader

It is Jay Bruce, who would be like Luke Skywalker, the young Jedi that will lead the defeat of the evil empire(insert Cardinals)!

Scott Token and he would be today because of his quite leadership, and they’re both kinda old.

Brandon Phillips as Han Solo – someone who gets the job done (defeating the evil Empire – however you may define that🙂 ) even if his means are unconventional. BP, like Han Solo, also has a great sense of humor.

I think its Chris Heisey…and he’d be Han Solo– scruffy, handsome and just gets the job done. And the chicks love him!!
