TURF’S UP!
Today is “Turf Day” at Great American Ball Park!
GABP became even more beautiful this morning as Head Groundskeeper Doug Gallant and his crew removed the grow blanket that kept the field warm (and healthy). A gorgeous burst of green grass reunited with the warm sun and blue skies and declared itself ready for baseball season.
Also today, Gallant and his crew began resurfacing the warning tracks. This will allow for more proficient water drainage during rainy weather.
