Crosley Field (1950-1960)
Oh, I know you’all are much too young to have heard of ” The Reds Model Field”
But, I’m hear to tell you, I saw many games @ Crosley Field with the likes of “BIG KLU”, “WALLY POST”,” ROY McMILLIAN”,”JOE MORGAN” “JOHNNY BENCH” etc.
(60) yrs. and your memory would be fading a bit, too… hee, hee.
No one will ever forget “THE BIG RED MACHINE (70′S)”
Oh how I cried, when they tore down Crosley Field to make way for interstate expansion, etc.
p.s. BIG KLU’s biseps . . . cut away shirt sleeve, etc.
