TRIVIA FOR A SHIRT WINNER
April 3, 2006 – George W. Bush became the first sitting president ever to throw out an Opening Day first pitch in Cincinnati and only the second sitting president to participate in that pre-game ceremony there. President Richard M. Nixon threw out the first pitch prior to the 1970 All-Star Game at Riverfront Stadium. Cincinnati native William Howard Taft is the only other sitting president ever to attend a game in Cincinnati.
