July 13, 1973 – Jack Billingham wins his 13th game of the season on Friday the 13th by pitching a two-hitter to beat the Mets, 2-1, in the first game of a doubleheader at Riverfront Stadium.  The only New York hits were a single by Wayne Garrett and a double by Cleon Jones in the fourth inning.

For correctly answering yesterday’s question, @SGloeckler has been randomly chosen as this week’s winner.

Didn’t win?  Don’t worry, we’ll play again next week.

1 month, 29 days, 2 hours, 15 minutes and 7 seconds till first pitch in Cincinnati.
