REDS MUSEUM OFFERS FREE ADMISSION TO KIDS 13 AND UNDER

CINCINNATI (Dec. 21, 2011) — The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame & Museum is offering fans 13 and under free admission now though Dec. 31.

A visit to the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum is an unique and entertaining experience for fans of all ages. The Museum features 15,000 square feet of historical, interactive and educational exhibits, highlighting the rich and storied tradition of the first professional baseball team.

Make sure check out this year’s feature exhibit, Johnny Bench: Baseball’s Greatest Catcher, presented by Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, while you still have a chance. The special exhibition of some of Bench’s rarest and most personal effects will be coming to an end soon.

The Museum Shop has memberships for sale and a large selection of memorabilia including great buys on autographed items.

– Dec. 24: Closed

– Dec. 26: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

– Dec. 29: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

About the Reds Hall of Fame:
Established in 1958, The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame is the oldest continually operating team Hall of Fame in all of baseball. The mission of the Reds Hall of Fame & Museum is to celebrate greatness, preserve history and provide inspiration.

Regular museum admission for adults is $10, students and seniors (60 and older) are $8 and active military and veterans (with valid military ID) are $6.

It is very upsetting to me that Pete Rose is not allowed to enter Hall of Fame. This had been a source of contention to me for a long time and always will be. It’s my opinion that he belongs in the baseball’s Hall of Fame!

I think if guys that used PEDs can get into the Hall of Fame, Pete should too.
