STATEMENT FROM KEN GRIFFEY JR.
Former Red Ken Griffey Jr. offered these words today on the passing of Carl Lindner:
“I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Carl Lindner. Carl was a true friend, and that friendship lasted outside of and beyond our years with the Reds. He taught me many life lessons, and was extremely generous to my entire family. His generosity to many other people and to the entire Cincinnati area will be felt for many generations to come. The Griffey Family’s sincerest thoughts are with the Lindner Family at this time.”
Well put, Jr. Mr.Lindner was the greatest, and we were lucky to have him.. the Reds were lucky to have him. RIP Mr. Lindner.
