THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER OF THE 1937 CINCINNATI TIGERS JERSEY
This is the moment you’ve all been waiting for!
The winner of the 1937 Cincinnati Tigers throw-back jersey is…
…drum roll please……
JJ OSMAN of Maysville, KY!
Nothing says “love and enthusiasm for Better Off Red” like getting a tattoo of Burt BobbleRed on your leg! That’s exactly what JJ did, and that’s exactly how JJ won. Take a look…
For his efforts, JJ wins the jersey that was issued to Travis Wood for the July 9 Negro Leagues Tribute Game played by the Reds and Brewers at Miller Park.
Congrats, JJ and job well done! You are a well-deserved winner.
Never in a million years would I have guessed that someone would get a Burt tattoo! I tried to get a comment from Burt, but he’s in such a state of shock that he couldn’t speak (and he’s made of porcelain).
Thanks to all of you who participated in the contest! Tomorrow, I’ll post all of the entries right here on Better Off Red.
In the meantime, be sure to check out game-used, autographed and authentic merchandise on the second floor of the Reds Team Shop by Majestic. You can also bid on game-used Reds items HERE.
That’s all for now!
Expect good news!
