I think the comments by Gomes show how great of a person he is and that there will be a hole left by him in the clubhouse. I will always root for Gomes. I especially liked the plug he gave Heisey.
Did you notice Walt’s answer when asked if Alonso was brought up to play left field?….Walt said, “No”……..It will be a return to Adam Dunn days if Alonso is allowed to lumber around in LF.
I will miss Jonny Gomes very much!! I know he hasn’t been doing well but he was my favorite player! A piece of the reds is missing now.
