• Drew Stubbs greeted Scott Linebrink with a first-pitch home run to lead off the bottom of the ninth inning and give the Reds a 4–3 win over the Braves. Linebrink was third major-league pitcher to allow a home run on his only pitch of a game this season, and all three were walkoff shots. The others were allowed by Darren Oliver (to Hideki Matsui on May 2) and Mike Adams (to Michael Morse on May 27).
