YONDER MOUNTAIN HIT MAN
LF Yonder Alonso (Louisville) currently ranks among International League leaders in doubles (15, T3rd), hits (51, 4th) and batting average (.327, 4th)…in 20 games this month, he’s batting .375 (30-80) with 3 HR, 16 RBI and a .638 slugging pct…in 20 games last month he batted .280 (.427 slugging pct.)       

CHAD’S RAD
RHP Chad Reineke (Louisville) yesterday at Norfolk pitched a season-high 8.0 innings en route to his 5th win of the season…over his last 3 starts, Reineke has allowed 5 earned runs in 20.0 innings pitched (2.25era, 6bb, 16k, 7r)…overall this season, he’s given up just 3 home runs in 51.2 innings.

LOUISVILLE 2, NORFOLK (ORIOLES) 1: RHP Chad Reineke (5-2) started for Louisville and was outstanding in his 8.0 innings, allowing just 1 run on 4 hits with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts…RHP Carlos Fisher notched his 6th save (1ip, 1bb)…the Bats scored 2 runs on 5 hits…SS Zack Cozart went 1-for-4 with an RBI.

CHATTANOOGA (DODGERS) 1, CAROLINA 4: RHP Kyle McCulloch (1-1) started for Carolina and allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 6.0 innings (1bb, 5k)…RHP Brad Boxberger earned his 2nd save (1ip, 2k)…the Mudcats plated 4 runs on 8 hits…1b Neftali Soto went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles, an RBI and a run scored…SS Miguel Rojas added a pair of hits.

BAKERSFIELD 5, MODESTO (ROCKIES) 4: RHP J.C. Sulbaran started for Bakersfield and gave up 3 runs (2er) on 6 hits in 7.0 innings (1bb, 5k)…RHP Scott Gaffney (1-3) earned the win in relief (2ip, 2h, 1r)…the Blaze scored the winning run in the top of the 9th…1b Chris Richburg paced the offense with 4 hits…SS Jose Gualdron went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI…DH Stephen Hunt (2-for-4, double) also drove in 2 runs.

LAKE COUNTY (INDIANS) 2, DAYTON 3: For the second game in a row, the Dragons win in walkoff fashion, scoring 2 runs in the 9th for the victory…RHP Chad Rogers started for Dayton and allowed a run on 3 hits in 4.0 innings (4bb, 2k)…RHP Jamie Walczak (1-0) earned the win in relief (2.2ip, 2h, 0r, 2k)…RF Yorman Rodriguez (2-for-4) hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs to win it…1b Donald Lutz went 2-for-4…C Tucker Barnhart tripled and scored a run.
