CINCINNATI ART MUSEUM TO RELEASE REDS “CLINCH” PRINT TOMORROW
Cincinnati Art Museum to release Reds “Clinch” print by C.F. Payne on May 4
Proceeds from sale to benefit Art Museum and Reds Community Fund
Reds fans, art collectors and enthusiasts alike are invited to the Cincinnati Art Museum on Wednesday, May 4 for the unveiling of the limited edition print Reds Clinch Central – 2010 by illustrator C.F. Payne.
Payne, a Cincinnati native, captures the emotion and celebration from Sept. 28, 2010 when Jay Bruce’s walk-off home run clinched the 2010 National League Central Division title for the Reds. The print features illustrated caricatures of Reds players Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips, Jay Bruce, Bronson Arroyo, Jonny Gomes, Scott Rolen, manager Dusty Baker and others.
The public is invited to a cocktail reception from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on May 4 at the Cincinnati Art Museum where the print will be for sale to the public for the first time.
Framed, numbered and signed prints by C.F. Payne are will be available for $250. Unframed and numbered prints $50.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Reds Community Fund’s baseball-themed outreach programs and the Cincinnati Art Museum.
