TONIGHT’S GAME POSTPONED

CINCINNATI – Tonight’s game with the Houston Astros has been postponed due to the forecast of steady rain throughout the evening.

The game has been rescheduled for Thursday at 12:35 p.m. ET.

Fans should keep their tickets. Their tickets are their rain checks. Fans should check the back of their ticket for specific instructions.

Fans holding tickets for tonight’s postponed game may use the same ticket for admittance to Thursday’s rescheduled 12:35 game with no exchange necessary. Bring your May 2 game ticket directly to the gate.

Fans also can exchange tickets for any other 2011 Reds regular season home games, subject to availability (excluding the Select and Premiere Cardinals and Yankee series).

Fans holding Kid Glove tickets vouchers may use the same ticket for the rescheduled game on Thursday with no exchange necessary, or they can exchange their tickets to scheduled games tomorrow (7:10) or Wednesday (12:35). Unredeemed Kid Glove vouchers may be used for any of the above dates.

Complimentary tickets ($0.00) are not valid rain checks.

Fans should indicate a first or second choice of games when mailing in their tickets. Ticket exchanges received within 7 days of the game will be left at Will Call for pickup on the day of the game. Please include name, phone number and mailing address.

The Cincinnati Flying Pig pre-game parade, originally scheduled for tonight, will be held prior to tomorrow night’s 7:10 p.m. start.

Tonight’s postponement is only the fourth in the 9 seasons at Great American Ball Park.

The game on 6/15/03 vs Phi was postponed after a 1-hour, 25-minute delay in the top of the second inning.

The game on 5/15/08 vs Fla was postponed before the gates opened.

The game on 4/10/09 vs Pit was postponed after a 20-minute delay at the start of the game.
