FORT WAYNE (PADRES) 0, DAYTON 4: The Dragons won their fifth consecutive game and their eighth straight at home…yesterday’s victory was their 11th in 12 games…RHP Josh Smith (2-1) started and was brilliant in his 6.0 scoreless innings, scattering 4 hits with 2 walks and 12 strikeouts…Dayton crossed the plate 4 times on 6 hits…LF Juan Duran (2r, 2bb) belted his 3rd home run of the season…SS Billy Hamilton singled and swiped 2 bags (18sb)…RF Jaren Matthews went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI.
