why hermida over heisey?
I think they want Hermida to get that first base knock out of the way.
If Pat Pacillo comes through for the team tonight, I’ll be really surprised. Are you going through your ’80s baseball cards again?
I still don’t understand Hermida over Heisey…..yes Jonny is in a slump and he’ll come out of it but 0 for everything is a lot lower than Jonny and even worse than Heisey.
When you are on the line to WIN games since you are not in first place, don’t experiment trying to get a guy his “first base knock” out of the way. Do that when you’re 5 runs up in the top of the 8th.
Hermida is a real good player the reds are lucky to have someone like him coming off the bench. If they would play him instead of gomes…that might start doing somethg again. Gomes swings at the first pitch usually and pops up to short center with the bases full!!!
