Let’s give Rolen a day off so he doesn’t wear down by the All-Star game! Bruce is young and full of energy. Could have given Rolen Sunday off, then he would have had 2 days to rest.

Rolen’ll get a day off on Thursday. I’m thinking it’s not so much as to give Bruce a day off as it is to get Heisey in the lineup.

Day game Thursday or another off day? He needs about every 4th game off or so, so he’s not exhausted and injury-prone down the stretch run (which I hope is in August this year LOL.) Win the division by about 18 to 20 games.
