NO WEST FOR THE WEARY
The road now leads us to Oxford, Ohio, home of my alma mater – Miami University.
The Takers is currently being illuminated on the bus TVs, but after suffering through the first two minutes of the epic masterpiece, I decided to throw on my headphones and listen to some Dr. Dog. Hard to watch Matt Dillon in any movie without Pony Boy and Soda Pop.
When I checked in last with you folks, we were on the cusp of entertaining the fans in Celina, Ohio, and we ended up doing just that. Celina is one of my favorite stops, because it takes place at Bella’s Restaurant. That’s where Ryan Rizzo, Mercury Marty and I usuallly have our traditional glass of red wine. Just one, though. We’ve got jobs to do.
From Celina, we headed to Zach Bonkowski territory – Muncie, Indiana. The funny thing I learned about Muncie is that the folks there don’t think too highly of Zach, which is understandable.
Our stop in Muncie took place at Stoops Automotive, where owner Randy Stoops and WPGW radio always roll out the red carpet for us…or is that just because it matches the team colors?

Reds staffer Shannon Senger received the good news in Muncie that her right ear is expecting.
Reds staffer Lindsey Lander challenged me to a head-stand contest….
…it ended badly.
Be sure to log on tomorrow for Mercury Marty’s recap of Day Three.
Tomorrow kicks off the final day of the 2011 Reds Caravan. I can’t wait to see all of my ol’ friends in Hamilton!
Log onto Reds.com/caravan or follow me on Twitter at Jamieblog for more Caravan coverage.

We had a great time! Stoops really knows how to put on ‘the show’…
