REDS STATE CHALLENGE IS NOW FAIR GAME

It’s time to loosen the reigns of the BOR Reds State Challenge

That’s right boys and girls, every state (except for Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia) is now free to compete!

So, if you’re a Reds fan living outside of the Caravan States, stand up and be counted!!  Send me (jramsey@reds.com) the photographic evidence of your Reds allegiance and you and your state will be represented here on Better Off Red.

Last week, Connecticut contributed with 3 entries, including my aunt Karen who is lives in beautiful Wallingford.

Let’s take a look at the others…

Hi Jamie:

I’m a frequent reader of your blog and enjoy the insight you give into the great Cincinnati Reds organization.  I’ve been a Reds fan since the Big Red Machine days – how could I be anything less with the last name of ‘BENSH’ – and am very excited about the direction the team is going in today.  Signing Bruce to a multi-year contract is great, now let’s get Votto and our other young players signed long-term too!

I have two young boys – Dylan and Tyler – whom I’m convincing into being Reds fans too, which is a little hard considering we’re in Yankee/RedSox territory up here.  Last year’s division title was a big help.

I’ve included a couple of pictures of my guys proudly wearing their Reds jerseys at my company’s yearly softball game/party.

Regards – Mike

Let’s go Reds…

Here’s a note on Bob.  He’s been reading BOR since the very beginning and I think he was one of – if not the very first person to post a comment.

Thanks for the continued support, Bob!  It’s very much appreciated!

Let’s take a look at the new and improved leaderboard, shall we?
