Joe Morgan to throw out first pitch before NLDS Game 3

CINCINNATI (October 9, 2010) – Hall of Famer Joe Morgan, MVP of the 1975 and 1976 World Series Champion Reds, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Sunday’s Reds vs. Philadelphia Phillies National League Division Series Game 3 at Great American Ball Park.

In April, Morgan was named Special Advisor to the baseball operations department. He has supported and assisted in the development of the club’s community outreach and diversity initiatives while participating in the efforts of the Reds Community Fund and Reds Hall of Fame.

As of now, the game is scheduled to start at 7:07pm. If the ALDS Yankees vs. Twins series concludes on Saturday evening, the game will move to 8:07pm.

Gates to Great American Ball Park will open at 5:10pm, regardless of whether it remains a 7:07pm game or moves to 8:07pm.
