CHASE WARE IS ENGAGED
In the middle of the fifth inning of last night’s Dayton/Kane County game, Dragons reliever Chase Ware proposed to his girlfriend, Maria Garay near the foul line at Fifth-Third Field…Maria was “randomly” selected to participate in a skit in the middle of the inning…when she took off her blindfold, Ware was on one knee and proposed…Maria said yes.

QUOTE BOAT

“Kevin is an excellent receiver and he’s caught most of these guys over the last few years so he’s been able to step right in and take over for Mes.  He had a great year last year and if it wasn’t for Mesoraco he probably would have started the year here so it’s nice to see him up here it’s where he deserves to be.”  – Lynchburg manager Pat Kelly on the progression of catcher Kevin Coddington (The News & Advance)
